Palm Springs: The Paloma Blue Way

Palm Springs: The Paloma Blue Way

WRITING FROM: Hi Palm Springs, CA!

Palm Springs remains on our list of forever favorite places. A quick 2-hour drive from LA and you are instantly transported to a retro paradise. We love it for its modern architecture, beautiful mountainscapes and it’s never-ending summer energy. Plus, there’s no shortage of pools that will make you feel like you’re in a Slim Aarons photograph, which was absolutely top-of-mind as we dreamed up our California Dreaming collection!

Colony Palms: Colony Palms is our ultimate Palm Springs hideaway. Although its location is central, you feel completely tucked away in this lush and charming boutique hotel. We like to camp out at the pool with a great book and an aperol spritz in hand all day long!

The Parker: It’s hard to think of a reason to leave once you get to The Parker. Everything at The Parker is perfectly on-point, vibe included. Beautiful gardens and walking paths, peaceful pools, fire pits, tennis courts, excellent restaurants and bars...need we say more?

Korakia Pensione: Bohemian bliss! We come to this Moroccan-style boutique hotel for the ultimate relaxation. We always feel much further away from home than we ever are, and once you’re here, you’ll understand why it has the reputation as the sexiest hotel in America.

Norma’s: Whether or not you’re staying at The Parker, Norma’s tops our list of musts for breakfast. The restaurant is open air and extremely colorful, and has a little something for everyone on the menu.

Don’t skip out on their fresh fruit smoothies!

King’s Highway: The coolest diner in town serving up serious wild west vibes. The menu is short, sweet and exactly what you’d expect from a diner, but doesn’t at all compromise quality.

Las Casuelas Terraza: This spot has been a Palm Springs staple since the ‘70s. Expect delicious, traditional mexican food staples and strong margaritas!

Purple Palm: Located within the Colony Palms, this restaurant gives us major Old Hollywood vibes. It’s menu is seasonal and always California-inspired, and the bartender makes some epic cocktails.

Workshop Kitchen & Bar: Our mouth is watering even thinking about dinner here! Workshop Kitchen & Bar is a serious gem. Their menu is ever-changing and features seasonal food from local farms, always with an innovative twist from their brilliant team. Whether you’re sitting inside or out, you’re in for a stylish vibe and memorable meal.

Hadley: En route to Palm Springs, or on your way back home, make a pit stop at Hadley’s Fruit Orchard. It’s been around since the 60s, and their date shake is what milkshake dreams are made of!

Birba: For killer cocktails and outdoor vibes, this is where you’ll find us! We love to go here for late and long dinners, and no matter what, we’ll be having a pizza.

Bootlegger Tiki: A no frills tiki bar that for some reason we just love! We aren’t the only ones, as this place is beloved by travel connoisseurs and locals alike.

Sands Hotel & Spa: The Sands Hotel is a morrocan inspired paradise and their intimate spa is our go-to spot for massages and body treatments. Although on the pricier side, we love the Royal Rhassoul body treatment, an experience like none other!

Modern Tour: We aren’t typically the tour type, so us loving this one is surely saying something. Palm Springs is worldly recognized and celebrated for its plethora of mid-century modern architecture. This tour takes you through some of the most iconic and luxurious houses in the area.
